Dear Parents/Carers,

Please explore our options information page. If you click on a tab, you will be taken to information in PDF format, which can be accessed on smart/internet enabled devices. We are sharing an options video this year, via the Compass app, which gives parents/carers and their child the opportunity to see and hear some of what our existing options pupils say about options. This will enable you to make an informed decision regarding options.

When pupils approach the end of Year 8, they may be asked to choose options. Please note that some pupils will not routinely access options due to them needing a highly structured curriculum offer, however this can be reviewed on an individual basis. You will receive a letter informing you of which pathway your child will access.

In Summer term 2026, we will contact parents of Year 8 pupils who we expect to access the options offer in 2026/2027 to confirm arrangements for finding out more information and making informed choices.

Our aim at KS4 is to give our students a broad and balanced offer, which will prepare them for their next steps in life.
